Event Details

CSI will be hosting a volunteer thank you meal and mini-symposium on November 2 from 2-4:30 pm at the Tompkins County Public Library. We hope you will be able to join us! This year we’re excited to be resurrecting (and adding to!) CSI’s historic volunteer symposium model to help us all stay up to speed with CSI’s water quality monitoring and outreach efforts. We’ll also be announcing the winners of this year’s volunteer awards!

The event will be held at the Tompkins County Public Library Borg Warner Room. Street parking is free on weekends and parking is also available in the nearby Cayuga Street Parking garage. A delicious meal will be provided courtesy of some local businesses (including Ithaca Bakery, Word of Mouth Catering, Lev Kitchen, Adam’s Corner Café, Macro Mamas, Wegmans, and GreenStar Food Co-op) who are grateful for the work you all do monitoring and protecting local water quality. After the meal there will be brief presentations and opportunities to share your own ideas, engage in small discussion groups around some of the topics presented and to meet fellow volunteers.
