Event Details

Bring a picnic lunch and join us at the creek in our beloved Buttermilk State Park. Who lives under the rocks in our local creeks and what can these organisms tell us about water quality? Set up your picnic blanket by the creek while CSI staff  introduce you to the fascinating world of biomonitoring and how Finger Lakes State Parks use this process to help them manage our state parks. Anyone who’s up for it should be prepared to get their feet wet in a hands-on exploration of critters in the stream!

Contact Adrianna@communityscience.org or call (607) 257-6606 for location details  and directions.
