Jared Thomas
Intern, Ithaca College Federal Work Study Program
Jared works on the small ins and outs of CSI. As a college student at Ithaca College, he is always ready to learn something new. Jared joined CSI in the fall of 2025 through Ithaca college’s federal work-study program. Before coming to Ithaca, Jared worked for seven years as a public works/water/wastewater director in Wisconsin. Through that position, he gained experience and appreciation for water quality. Now pursuing a degree in Writing, Jared has not lost his love for nature, bringing to CSI his curiosity and enthusiasm.
In his free time, Jared enjoys reading science fiction, writing, drawing, pondering the universe, visiting waterfalls with his girlfriend, and going on long walks with his sweet Dobermans, Phantom and Ruby.
