CSI's 2022 Volunteer Thank You Dinner and Celebration

The Community Science Institute will host our 2022 Volunteer Thank You Dinner and Celebration on Friday, July 15, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. The celebration will be held in the large pavilion at Ithaca’s gorgeous Stewart Park on the waterfront of Cayuga Lake!

The celebration will be a fun time to connect with fellow volunteers working to protect water in the Finger Lakes region! Following a dinner served at 6:15 PM, there will be time for volunteers from each of our four monitoring programs to share stories and memories. It will also be a time to celebrate the career of Dr. Stephen Penningroth, CSI’s founder and Executive Director for over twenty years, and to welcome our next Executive Director, Dr. Grascen Shidemantle, who will lead CSI in its next chapter alongside our Laboratory Director, Noah Mark!
