Katia grew up in Arequipa, Peru. There, she earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Saint
Paul Catholic University and an M.S. in Integrated Management System Audits from the
Institute of Higher Education in Peru. She also earned an M.S. in Quality Management and
Process Improvement from the School of Industrial Organization in Madrid, Spain. Katia joins
CSI after a career in quality management and quality control for construction projects.
In her free time, Katia enjoys spending time with her cats, Shaki and Maki, hiking the many trails
of the Finger Lakes, dancing bachata, playing board games, singing karaoke, and nurturing her
plants.
