Today is Giving Tuesday, a global celebration of generosity. This Giving Tuesday, we hope that you will consider making a difference by becoming a member of CSI.
Just take a look at what your support of CSI means to one of our valued members and longtime volunteers, Di Florini:
“CSI taught James and I how to take Benthic Macroinvertebrate (BMI) samples back in 2004. The health of these invertebrates shows how clean the water is. With a group of fun volunteers from the towns of Caroline and Ithaca and with friends from Newfield and Apalachin, we have continued our once-a-year sampling of Six Mile Creek. Come join us or join another group on another creek to keep tabs on creek health. Having a great excuse to admire the beauty in our creek is wonderful, but discovering different cases built by caddisflies from tiny stones amazes us every year. People can’t live without clean water. Support CSI.”
