Join us at the Cayuga Lake Watershed Network 2019 Fall Community Conference to learn about the results of the 2019 Cayuga Lake Harmful Algal Bloom Monitoring Program. CSI Cayuga Lake HABs Monitoring Program Coordinator Nathaniel Launer will be presenting on the results of the 2019 monitoring season and what has been learned about harmful algal blooms (HABs) on Cayuga Lake after two years of community monitoring.
The forum will take place on Saturday, November 2nd, from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM in the second floor annex of the First United Unitarian Society on 208 East Buffalo St. in Ithaca. Additional presentations will include Dealing with Climate Change Emotions given by Rebecaa Ruggles, An Overview of Water Issues at the South End of Cayuga Lake given by Roxanna Johnston, and Harmful Algal Blooms – Nationwide trends in 2019 given by Hilary Lambert. Refreshments will be provided, and all are welcome. We hope to see you there!
