The Community Science Institute along with 54 other local nonprofit organizations will be at the 11th Annual Ithaca Alternative Gift Fair on Saturday, December 6th from 11 AM – 6 PM in Ithaca. The fair is held in both the First Baptist Church and the First Presbyterian Church on the corner of N. Cayuga and Court Street in Ithaca.
The Ithaca Alternative Gift Fair is an opportunity for holiday shoppers to buy “gifts” in the form of charitable donations to local organizations. CSI will be at table #29 in the First Presbyterian Church – come say hi!
The gifts from CSI available this year are:
$5 – Support the 4-H20 Water Monitoring Club for Youth monitoring in Stewart Park
$10 – To support water quality monitoring in Cayuga Lake and its tributary streams
$15 – Helps support pre-fracking baseline water testing in local streams and creeks
$20 – Supports the Regional Baseline Initiative, which documents and publishes pre-fracking water quality
Donations in Any Amount – Support CSI’s mission to empower citizens to monitor and protect our precious local water resources.
Can’t make it to the fair in person? All of the gifts can be purchased online from December 7 through 31 on the fair’s website: www.
